Privacy policy

UPDATED NOVEMBER 6, 2026

RacKimün Retro Media Studio (“RacKimün”) is an app by Irrelevant Software, from Chile. It is made for recording mixtapes with no accounts, no ads and no collection of your data.

What stays on your phone

Your gifts, drafts and settings (language, sound, vibration, animations and CRT effect) are stored only on your phone. They are not sent to Irrelevant Software. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes them.

Song search

To search for songs, the app queries Apple’s public iTunes Search API with the text you type and the store you pick. Covers and 30-second previews also come from Apple. Those requests are covered by Apple’s privacy policy.

Sharing and the mixtape link

  • Nothing is shared unless you choose to, using Android’s share menu.
  • The mixtape link carries the gift inside the link itself (title, recipient, dedication and songs), in the part after the “#” sign. That part is read by the recipient’s browser and never reaches our server. We don’t keep copies of mixtapes.
  • Anyone who has the link can see the mixtape. Share it only with the people you want.
  • When the link is opened, the browser asks Apple for song details, covers and previews. The Spotify and YouTube Music buttons open those services, which have their own policies.
